South Truckee Meadows General Improvment District
(STMGID)
The Washoe Board of County Commissioners (BCC) held a joint meeting with South Truckee Meadows General Improvement District (STMGID.)
The primary purpose of the meeting was to discuss the process for merging STMGID into the Dept. of Water Resources (DWR) and the disposition of STMGID assets, although, only two items were accomplished.
- It was established that the LMB was simply an advisory Board to the Trustees (BCC) and had no authority.
- To pacify the LMB members the BCC, on motion by Commissioner Larkin, agreed to allow the LMB to hire their own Attorney.
